What do you love most about Fort McMurray:  The community!  There are so many things to do, and the community is all about helping out others.  It's a great place to live!  Love Bark Park!

Favourite Guilty Pleasure:The award winning Muscat wine from Gaspereau Vineyards in Wolfville N.S, so good!  If you are going to the Annapolis Valley pick me up a bottle and I'll pay you for it.

What brought you into radio:  I went to visit my grade 6 teacher while he was doing community radio while I lived in Germany, he was playing loud music, had a case of 'adult' beverages on the back table and his girlfriend sitting on his lap.  That's when I said, "that's what I am going to do for the rest of my life".  That and getting involved in community projects to help out where I live

Home town: Castlegar BC - but we lived just outside in a small community called Blueberry Creek… population about 400 people. 

Siblings: Oi… that’s a tough one as I say I have a family made up of his/hers/ours and theirs… I have 1 brother, 2 half brothers, and 3 step brothers.  I have two sets of parents and had several grandparents… Yes I was the only girl!  But wasn't the princess… had to be a tough cookie!

What’s the one thing you do today that you thought you’d NEVER do:  Cook!  I never cared for food (I was such a picky eater – which is why I’m cursed with my picky son).  And now I love to cook and experiment.  Who knew!!

What do you love the most about your job:  The real life connection.  Hopefully making people laugh, smile or just forget about their problems.

Hometown: Edmonton, or as its known by the locals…Edmonton

Favorite Artists: Anything Canadian…minus Justin Bieber, I give extra points to artists from out West (Paul Brandt, Corb Lund, Doc Walker, etc.)

What do you love most about Fort McMurray: If you can dream it, you can do it in Fort McMurray. I never thought I’d use the word “thrive” when describing my life until I started living in the MAC.

Favorite Guilty Pleasure: Let’s just say I’ve been know to take more than three showers a day.

Home town: Stony Plain, AB: A formerly wee little town about 40km west of Edmonton. I was one of two babies in the Stony Plain Hospital that magical week I was born, but I was cuter. I moved to Edmonton to take Radio Broadcasting at NAIT, but never lost my Stony Plain roots!

Favorite Artists: Corb Lund (The man that got me into country music in the first place) Paul Brandt, Toby Keith, & Carrie Underwood

What do you love about Fort McMurray: The people! Most people never planned to be here, but have appeared here for one reason or another. It creates a really close knit family vibe that I never felt when I lived in Edmonton. Go MOB!

Favorite Guilty Pleasure: I’m a huge geek at heart! I can quote you lines from Star Wars, and Doctor Who. Also, I’m a huge Eskimo fan! I was a proud Eskimo season ticket holder for 8 years before I moved to Fort McMurray

What Brought You into Radio: As a young tyke I used my Fischer Price tape recorder to do Eskimos and Oilers Play-by-Play, but I discovered my love for music whilst in radio school and never looked back.

What brought you into radio: Ever since I was a wee little guy I always wanted to be on the radio. When I was 3 I recorded over my dads Elvis mix tape to make my own radio show.

What do you love most about Fort McMurray:  I can golf until midnight in the summertime and in the winter all the MOB games I can handle.
