A new study has compiled the smartest and dumbest songs to hit number one on four different Billboard charts (Pop, Country, Rock and R&B) over the past decade. Using an interesting algorithm involving the reading level of individual words and syllables Blake Shelton’s “All About Tonight” was named the smartest song of any genre. (Feel good pills & Red Gatorade are a smart idea for the morning after a few drinks- I’ll give him that!

Country music fared fairly well with Craig Morgan “That’s What I Love About Sunday”, Miranda Lambert “The House That Built Me”, Keith Urban & Lambert “We Were Us” and Carrie Underwood “Before He Cheats” also landing in the top ten- and not a single Country song cracked the bottom ten.
The dumbest song of the last decade? Canada’s Three Days Grace has that honour (or dishonour??)
