ccma discovery
The CCMA Discovery Program has launched the career of some great artists (more on them later) since it started in 2013. Who do you think will be crowned the winner this year at the CCMA’s in London? Check out the six finalists below:

Tenille Arts (Saskatchewan)
Not to be confused with the Grande Prairie native who played last year’s Wild West Country Festival, this youngster from Saskatchewan has a great following on YouTube and represented her home province in the 2015 CCMA Spotlight Performance Contest.

DaniElle (British Columbia)
She won $10,000 with CMT Canada’s Chevy Tailgate Challenge last year and is working on an EP with Dan Swimmer (who produced fellow BC Country gal Madeline Merlo’s album)

Eric Ethridge (Ontario)
Ethridge has showed some great range in his early years in the industry- with a rocking Church/Aldean style on his original “Crazy Tonight” to a Countrified version of Andy Grammer’s “Honey I’m Good” which got him attention in Rolling Stone!

Livy Jeanne (Alberta)
You’ve already heard of the Ardrossan native (hey I played hockey there!!)- Livy’s already had two hits on Country 93.3 with “Any Other Way” and “Wrong Side of the Dirt”. Will the CCMA Discovery Showcase be what she needs to take her to the next level?

Runaway Angel (Ontario)
These three ladies from the GTA have only been together some two odd years but they’ve already rocked festivals like Boots & Hearts and are set to release their debut EP later this year.

TwoShine County (Alberta)
This Calgary duo debuted in 2014 and made the trip to Halifax last year- where I caught up with them at the CCMA Jiffy Lube FanFest

Best of luck to all six! Who do you think will take home the big prize? Just take a look at the past winners!
