About the Artists:

Dan Gillies

Dan is a freelance musician, guitarist, music director and teacher who makes his home in Fort McMurray, AB.

As a working musician for over a decade, Dan has a resume of diverse proportions. With a background injazz, one can find him performing in an ensemble at a black-tie event – and with an alluring archtop! As a country guitar aficionado, he can be caught onstage at country music events with a killer band! As a producer, Dan collaborates with artists and clients on a variety of projects; helping them achieve their musical visions.

Aaron Deslandes

Originally from Hamilton Ontario, Aaron has been in Fort McMurray for 6 years. He fills his days working as a Heavy Equipment Operator, and uses his time in-between to help with his creative process. When not at work, you might catch him on the tailgate of his truck, guitar in hand or just as easily cruising around town on his motorcycle. Always enjoying playing for a crowd whether small gigs or large, Aaron strums out modern country tunes. Writing his own music Aaron takes inspiration from great guitarists like Keith Urban and lyricists like Eric Church and Chris Stapleton. 

Eva LaPrairie

Éva has been performing since a young age, and credits her artistry to various creative disciplines, such as drama, musical theater, song-writing and band work. Éva’s performances are lively, high-energy and fun to watch for all ages. Éva performs at various venues with either a band or solo, throughout her community and other locations in Canada, to showcase her original songs and covers. Éva’s music catalogue includes country, rock and pop tunes.


On the road as a solo artist for a decade,Mychela is an artist following this musical path to live her dream.

performing across Canada, through the States, and the Caribbean, she has shared Stages with the likes of, Julian Austin, Aaron Lines , Shane Yellowbird just to name a few .

Mychela’s days find her writing,touring, teaching vocal lessons, booking shows, all things music. With co- wrights well underway heading into the recording with new music that truly allows her to speak from her heart and fulfilling a dream of being able to get her music out for all to hear.

Shantelle Davidson

Born and raised in Rainy River Ontario, Shantelle Davidson was immersed in music, nature and outdoor sports. She moved out west at the age of 17. Upon graduating High School in Fort McMurray, AB she headed to L.A to attend college and pursue her dream of the big stage.

Spending some time in Vancouver, BC as a working actress and recording some original music, Shantelle knew in her heart that Alberta was home. Singing locally in Fort McMurray while working in the Oilsands, Davidson met other talented musicians and soon found herself fronting the Shantelle Davidson Band.
