Miranda Lambert has been teasing a collaboration with Elle King. This isn’t the first time the two have worked together. Elle went on tour with Miranda Lambert in 2019 on her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars. Miranda mentions “we’ve toured together and sang on stage together, hung out and partied together, recorded together, and so much more. This song just feels like the natural transition to the afterparty.”
