Luke Bryan and his family are quite renowned in the country music community for their playful antics, but it’s time to shed light on one of their Christmas customs that has largely gone unnoticed by the Norad Christmas Radar.

The adults in the Bryan household, uncertainty prevailing about Luke’s eligibility, uphold a Christmas tradition with a football theme for the youngsters. Bryan shared with his label, UMG Nashville, “In our hallway, we tape up numerous sheets of wrapping paper, and the kids enthusiastically charge through them like a football team, unveiling all the presents. It’s a delightful experience.”

This wasn’t always the case for the Bryans. The country music sensation confesses that Christmas used to be more hectic when his children were younger.

“We used to load them onto the tour bus and head to Georgia. Traveling with kids was quite demanding, and I’m sure many can relate,” Bryan reflects. “Now that we’re in Nashville and have celebrated numerous Christmases here, the kids are growing older, but the thrill of rushing down the stairs on Christmas morning still captivates them.”

It’s safe to assume that any holiday at the Bryan residence would leave an indelible mark, but this particular tradition warms our hearts. Ultimately, Christmas is about creating lasting memories for the children and instilling the roots of festive traditions.
