There’s nothing better than cozying up by the fireplace with a delicious, warming cocktail in hand. Whether you’re hosting a holiday gathering or simply unwinding after a long day, these winter cocktail recipes are sure to add a touch of warmth and cheer to your chilly evenings.

1. Spiced Apple Cider Mule:

Ingredients:
– 2 oz spiced apple cider
– 1 oz vodka
– 1/2 oz ginger liqueur
– 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
– Ginger beer
– Apple slices and cinnamon sticks for garnish

Instructions:
a. Fill a copper mug with ice.
b. Pour in the spiced apple cider, vodka, ginger liqueur, and lime juice.
c. Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
d. Garnish with apple slices and a cinnamon stick.

2. Cranberry Orange Hot Toddy:

Ingredients:
– 2 oz bourbon or whiskey
– 1 oz cranberry juice
– 1/2 oz honey
– 1/2 oz fresh orange juice
– Hot water
– Orange slice and cranberries for garnish

Instructions:
a. In a heat-resistant glass, combine bourbon, cranberry juice, honey, and orange juice.
b. Top with hot water and stir until honey is dissolved.
c. Garnish with an orange slice and a few cranberries.

3. Peppermint White Russian:

Ingredients:
– 2 oz vodka
– 1 oz coffee liqueur
– 1 oz peppermint schnapps
– Cream or milk
– Crushed peppermint candies for rimming

Instructions:
a. Rim a glass with crushed peppermint candies.
b. Fill the glass with ice.
c. In a shaker, combine vodka, coffee liqueur, and peppermint schnapps.
d. Shake well and strain into the prepared glass.
e. Top with cream or milk and stir gently.

4. Winter Wonderland Punch:

Ingredients:
– 2 cups cranberry juice
– 1 cup orange juice
– 1 cup pineapple juice
– 1/2 cup white rum
– 1/4 cup triple sec
– Fresh cranberries and orange slices for garnish

Instructions:
a. In a punch bowl, combine cranberry juice, orange juice, pineapple juice, rum, and triple sec.
b. Stir well and refrigerate for at least an hour.
c. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh cranberries and orange slices.

5. Maple Bourbon Smash:

Ingredients:
– 2 oz bourbon
– 1 oz maple syrup
– 1/2 oz lemon juice
– Fresh rosemary sprig for garnish

Instructions:
a. In a shaker, combine bourbon, maple syrup, and lemon juice.
b. Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice.
c. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig.
