Chris Stapleton wowed audiences with two powerful performances on Saturday Night Live, leading to a surge in sales of his songs on iTunes.

His track “White Horse” climbed to number six on the iTunes chart, while his recent single “Oh Well” slipped out of the top 10. Stapleton’s hits like “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Weight of Your World” also saw significant jumps in rankings, with “Mountains Of My Mind” making a surprise appearance on the chart.

The SNL “Get That Boy Back” sketch featured Stapleton looking relaxed. Chris played his role well in this country music revenge song parody (think Carrie Underwood’s “Before He Cheats”). Unsurprisingly, his voice was just as fantastic in the recorded skit as it was live.
